O'Gorman Building - Cornish Associates
back to projects
Vacant for nearly 35 years, the upper levels of the O’Gorman building, located in the heart of downtown Providence, were recently converted by Cornish Associates into residential apartments. Built circa 1925, this brick and terra cotta-clad, corner building was connected to the adjacent Burgess Building. The PPSRF was the historic consultant, preparing the State and Federal Historic Tax Credit applications. The project also received a loan from the Downcity Partnership, which is now the PPSRF Downcity Fund.
